Title: Back in Texas: Boat Work and Family Adventures

Hey there, fellow adventurers! We're back in Texas, back to the grind, and back to working on the boat. Life has a funny way of stretching out our to-do list, but hey, that's all part of the journey, right?

Our mission for today? Well, your guess is as good as mine. Katie says it's caulking day, so caulking it is! Meanwhile, while the kids were out lending a hand to Todd on the boat yesterday, I've been busy revamping our website. If you're curious, you can check it out at spoondrifters.com.

With December upon us, we're feeling the pressure to get the boat shipshape before Christmas rolls around. Time sure flies, doesn't it? But hey, we're all geared up and ready to head to the boat once again. Are you ready for another boat adventure?

But before we dive into caulking, let's talk shrinky dinks. Remember those? Today, the kids are channeling their inner artists with some shrinky dink fun—necklaces and trinkets in the making.

Now, back to the boat. Caulking duty awaits, and it's no small task. Katie has been chiseling away at the old caulking, pulling out long strands of the stuff like it's nobody's business. It's tedious work, but with the right tools and a little elbow grease, we're making progress.

Speaking of progress, can we take a moment to appreciate the battle scars on my hands? A true badge of honor for any seasoned boat worker, wouldn't you say?

Amidst the caulking chaos, there's always room for a bit of distraction. From impromptu dental check-ups to exploring mysterious tools, there's never a dull moment on the boat.

But amidst the distractions, the real work continues. Todd's on track duty, pulling out the old track to replace the broken teak. It's a team effort, and we're making strides.

In other news, we've made an executive decision as a family—to return to weekly videos. Balancing boat work and video editing has been a challenge, but we're committed to sharing our adventures with you. So, mark your calendars—our videos will now go live on YouTube every Sunday night. We can't wait for you to join us on this wild ride.

Until next time, fair winds and smooth sailing, my friends. Don't forget to like, subscribe, and hit that notification bell to stay up to date with our latest adventures. See you on the water!

Goodbye for now!
