Boatyard Chronicles: Moving Day

Ep 20 An 8 hour tow! - https://youtu.be/ZhPmwTMqURk

Ahoy, fellow sailors!

Another day, another adventure at the boat. Today, we're diving into the nitty-gritty of moving our beloved vessel to the boatyard and getting her hauled out. It's all part of the journey, and we're thrilled to take you along for the ride.

When we started our YouTube journey, we found ourselves knee-deep in projects and videotaping every step of the way. But with so much happening, we struggled to keep up with our video schedule. So, we're playing catch-up now, and today's video is all about the big move.

Picture this: a bustling boatyard, the sound of waves in the distance, and our trusty tugboat ready to whisk us away. With little notice, we received the call to move, and within 45 minutes, we were on our way. It's all part of the adventure, right?

As we navigated through the waterways, our hearts raced with anticipation. Despite the tight schedule, our tugboat captain expertly maneuvered our vessel, ensuring a smooth journey to the boatyard. We couldn't have asked for a better team by our side.

Of course, with our mast towering above, we had to take the long route, adding a few extra hours to our journey. But every moment was worth it, knowing that our boat was in good hands.

Bright and early the next day, we sprang into action, preparing our vessel for haul-out. The mizzen sail came down, and the boom was carefully stowed away, all in preparation for the big moment.

And then, finally, the moment we'd been waiting for arrived. With a mix of excitement and anticipation, our boat was hoisted out of the water, ready for her next chapter.

As we watched our vessel rise gracefully from the water, we couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. It's moments like these that remind us why we embarked on this journey in the first place.

So, stay tuned for the next chapter in our boatyard chronicles. Until then, fair winds and smooth sailing!

Tammy
